When Gary Larson retired from writing “The Far Side” in the mid-nineties I was really bummed. I loved his warped sense of humor. Perhaps my favorite was a panel that had cows walking about on hind legs in a field when one of them calls out “Car!” They all get on four legs as the kids in the car make faces at them and then resume their two legged roaming after it passes. I mean, who thinks like that? Only Gary Larson.

His strips were published in collections and calendars but nothing was added to the oeuvre. In December he started putting original and some new items on line. I can’t go a day without my daily dose of a Far Side chuckle and neither should you. You can find him at:
