For the last eight months this blog has addressed, from time to time, my health challenges. No need to go over them again, you can revisit previous entries in the Footnotes series and other related posts. But as I have recovered strength and mobility one thing has been missing. Josephine.
Josephine is the name of my 2014 Can-Am Spyder RT that I love to ride and have not been able to lately. Recently I sent it off to the dealership to get serviced as it has sat for a bit. Yesterday I picked her up and rode her about a bit and got my knees back in the breeze. It was glorious and the best I have felt in a long time.
The reason she is named Josephine is because Can-Am calls her paint color “Cognac.” And my favorite cognac is Courvoisier. And Courvoisier uses the bust of Napoleon as a symbol of the brand. And…okay, you need to make the jump from there. Hopefully there will be much more news of Josephine in the coming weeks and months. See how big I’m smiling as Pamela took my photo my first time back in the saddle?
