You may note an obsession on this blog about “National Days.” They’re fun and often innocuous little diversions. Because today is April 4 (4/4 or 4×4) today is called Jeep Day. I’ve owned a couple of different Jeeps in my life, my favorite being a Jeep Wrangler soft top in the late 1990’s.

I really enjoyed that car, especially when I drove it with the top down. Jeeps are iconic and without rival in the car market. Someday I hope to own another. I just need to figure out which I want to shop for, perhaps the Gladiator small pickup version?

Or perhaps something even more original – I mean THE ORIGINAL. Yeah, that would be fun.
