Well my post season dreams of the Cincinnati Reds is done. Once again they ended up in the cellar of their division despite their early promise. I still think they have good core to build on but here we go again…

So now we turn to football season but, perhaps as expected, the Bengals lost their third game of the season due to their own ineptitude against the Steelers. Bungles. Could be a long season.

And next baseball season is in peril due to player contract negotiations. May not happen or at least be delayed. At least last week I got to see a baseball game in person as the Reds visited Atlanta.

Though the Reds won two of the three in the series, I, of course, attended the only game they lost. Figures. But I had an epic time and will enjoy the memory while I wait to see what happens next season. Meanwhile I will root on the Braves this post season (even though I have residency rights for both the Yankees and the Rays). Ah well. Go Reds!
