I’m sure you already know what a special day today is. I bet you’re already feeling warm and happy. Because unofficially winter is over. You see, pitchers and catchers report to the Cincinnati Reds camp today to start Spring Training so I have a happy and warm feeling all over.

Wait a moment, someone is kicking me under the table and my editorial staff is advising me that this is Valentine’s Day and I have been so wrapped up in getting ready for baseball I forgot all about it. Uh-oh. I gotta run to get flowers and chocolates and a card. Or maybe two cards. Do you think they already have them on sale to clear the shelves for Easter? I’m in trouble now. Go Reds!
