Today is National Chocolate Covered Cherry Day.  If offered a shot at a box of mixed chocolates I will always shoot for the chocolate covered cherry option first.  Definitely a pairing made in heaven.  Ironically I am just writing about it now but this was a long standing go-to gift that Pamela would always buy for her sons as they were growing up and yet this is the first year she chose not to get them.  They were always a highly anticipated Christmas standby but now as they are farther flung than ever and Pamela want them to eat better, well, I guess I’ll have to get a box for myself instead.  Yum.
