If you read this blog, you know that I am addicted to the daily Wordle puzzle in the New York Times (even non subscribers can play). Yesterday I reached a landmark. I have successfully completed one thousand consecutive Wordle puzzles! The NYTimes makes a nice deal of it and awarded a “badge.”

I’ve been playing it since it was released and one thousand days ago I was working on a tough puzzle and set it aside until later. The day got busy and I didn’t pick it up until the next day and blew a modest streak and swore I would not let that happen again. And I have now been successful for 1,000 days. Now I have my eyes set on 1,096. Why/ That would equal three years of success. Wish me luck!
