The Cincinnati Reds stormed out of the gate early and quickly took the lead in a hyper competitive National League Central Division. That was so long ago and I miss March and April. But the May soured their rise and started their slide and we now find ourselves last in the Division and just one game above 500. It is still only a quarter of the way into the season and we can still battle our way up. The projected powerful offense keeps sputtering at the worst moments. Starting pitching is striving to hold it all together but the bullpen has been porous. I’d like the entire bullpen to gather around this blog post for a quick demonstration. Look at this.

Please memorize this image. This is your target that has too often eluded you recently. If you keep walking our opponents bad things happen. No more walks. No more. Got it? Great. Now get out there and show off your talents. We got this. We still have time.
Speaking of time, have you seen the lovely gift that longtime hero Joey Votto gifted to the Cincinnati Reds? Just a little time piece at Great American Ballpark.

It was in appreciation of the fans during his long and productive Reds Career. It is lovely and exactly the caring appreciation of a true star. Thanks, Joey. Now, Go Reds!
