National Glazed Spiral Ham Day

This blog is not designed to give national brands a free advertising ride. Today’s National Day was indeed inspired by a device that Harry J. Hoenselaar created in his basement in Detroit Michigan back in the 1950’s. The fact that he went on to create the HoneyBaked Ham company doesn’t need to be mentioned until the HoneyBaked Ham company pays me lots of money for advertising their brand. The fact that the patent on the device expired in 1981 allowed many competitors to jump into the game doesn’t change the fact that the HoneyBaked Ham company is still associated strongly with the product. So, your move HoneyBaked Ham. Feel free to reach out to me with a sufficient financial offer and I just might mention the HoneyBaked Ham product in my blog entry on National Glazed Spiral Ham Day.
