Welcome to September and the unusual (at least recently) sensation of the Cincinnati Reds being in contention this late in the season. For the last couple of decades we could count on a June or July fade but my Redlegs are actually angling for a postseason appearance. It will be very difficult to catch the strong Milwaukee Brewers to take the division but we are fighting for a Wild Card spot. We just might make it if our bullpen can hold on. Our offense can be mighty but is too streaky for my liking. Still, my fingers are crossed that our last 28 games can put us into the post season. Go Reds!
