Yep, it’s that day again. Happy Birthday Mom! She’s looking great, here’s a recent picture of her.

Perhaps “recent” is a relative term and she is certainly my closest relative! Actually a more recent and more fun picture of us together came a couple of years ago when I traveled to Florida to celebrate her 80th birthday. She had never ridden a motorcycle and so I gave her a couple of rides on my Can-Am Spyder.

We had a great time and look forward to more rides in the future. Don’t be upset that I revealed her true age. She’s rather proud of lasting this long and has plans to continue until she is 105, simply to outdo her grandmother. You know, she’s just ornery enough to get her way. So get used to more such posts every August 31 for many years to come. Happy Birthday Mom!
