Two decades in the Big Apple

On June 1, 1998 I started a new job in Manhattan and have stuck around ever since.  I loved this city from my first visit in 1975 (during the bad old rough and glorious days of this place) but always held out hope to be invited here.  That happened 20 years ago and I have hung on ever since.  NYC is not an easy place and you never know how long you will be blessed to be here but I am glad I had this time.  I learned to ride a motorcycle here (more news on a coming ride soon) and learned to write plays here (updates on my latest production June 14-17 at the Players Theatre coming soon – book your tickets before they sell out!).  And best of all I get to see lots of theatre here, of course more reviews of new shows soon!  Thanks for checking in on the blog.  I try to be brief for each post, so no more time to………
