Review – Harry Clarke

Every actor and playwright I know should hurry to the Minetta Lane Theatre to see the production of Harry Clarke performed by Billy Crudup before it closes mid-May.  Discounts abound and there is no reason to miss this incredible work.  Mr. Crudup has long been one of my favorite stage actors and I have just discovered the story telling genius of writer David Cale.

I don’t want to give away too much but the tale of Mr. Clarke is incredible.  The playwright lures you in and then throws you out and takes you back home.  Billy Crudup takes the text and weaves an indelible portrait through a one man performance I will never forget.  This is an acting achievement of extraordinary ability.  See it next week.
