Today is National Candy Corn Day.  This is one of my favorite national days as it combines vegetables and candy.  I am most thrilled that there are three flavors in every kernel.  These treats are rather tasteless but then so am I.  Perfect.  Don’t know why, but they remind me more of teeth than corn, which is fine as mine are rotting from eating too much candy corn.  Funny though, I have never seen candy corn on the cob, only in the bag.  My local grocery produce clerk now runs into the back of the store when he sees me because he is tired of hearing me ask for candy corn on the cob.  He has no sense of humor but all of his teeth.
