I read a variety of Cincinnati Reds media and the best line I read this week? “It is May 1st and the Cincinnati Reds are not in last place.” Yep, that about sums up the last several decades for my RedLegs. The baseball news so far this season includes the improved rule changes for a zippier game, the record breaking start of the Tampa Bay Rays, the inexplicably hot streak for the formerly wayward Pittsburgh Pirates and the fact that my Cincy Reds are not yet in last place. I’ll take it. There is still hope and fight left in my team and they may yet revive within the next six months. I have faith. Go Reds!
