Today’s Throwback Thursday is a vacation to a San Francisco more than two decades ago. During that trip we stopped by Boudin Bakery at Fisherman’s Wharf where I picked up some of their delicious sourdough bread. Along the way I picked up some bottled water, which was still a bit of a novelty in those days.
We then toured the decommissioned Alcatraz Prison Island where I got to pose for some pictures. I had fun in a cell holding up the bread and water as a joke on prison food. Get it? Yep, I’ve made these bad jokes forever. Only in San Francisco.
