You may or may not have heard but I am pulling up roots and moving to the state of Florida. I have lived in New York City for more than 23 glorious years and first fell in love with it when I visited when I was just 17 years old. As I was originally born in Florida but spent the longest time at one address in New York City, I declare dual citizenship in the two places.

But it is time for a change and there will necessarily be some changes in the focus of this blog. There are bound to be fewer Broadway show reviews, but there is also theater productions in Central Florida where I will be next. Indeed, one of my own scripts was selected to be performed in Orlando next January so they obviously have good taste in the area. There will be fewer fancy restaurant reviews, but Orlando does have the world’s largest White Castle so new culinary adventures await.

As has been noted, I will be taking a slow detour to arrive in Florida. I am taking my motorcycle on an epic tour of the Skyline Drive, Blue Ridge Parkway and Tail of the Dragon. It will be a fantastic, challenging, but relaxing route and I hope to post some photos and videos along the way. So I hope to keep your interest with my writing, both for the blog and for the theatre. Glad you can join me.
