A patriotic Bicentennial Thinnes Pharmacy key ring

Happy Independence Day (Observed)! Hope you have the day off. I have thrown up a few Throwback Thursday post from time to time as I came across things. But I recently came across the mother lode of images I was looking for. Sorry, but there will be many more in the weeks and months to come.

We’ll start today with a Memories Monday, considering the Independence Day theme. I came across a special key ring issued by the Thinnes Pharmacy. This noted civic institution was based in Western Cincinnati for more than five decades, run first by my grandfather and then by my wonderful uncle Reed. Take a look

Pretty cool discovery. I will hang onto it so that when the Thinnes Family Museum is founded (just a matter of time) I can donate it.
