Early tomorrow morning about two dozen motorcyclists and a few chase vehicles will start a week long ride for charity through the upper midwest intersecting several times with the upper Mississippi River. I have had the pleasure to join this wacky group for part of one of their previous rides and they are a great gang of very pleasant motorcycle enthusiasts. They ride to raise money for charities that benefit theatre workers, especially those working behind the scenes. You can read more about it HERE.
Each year they coordinate a ride through a different part of North America and this route was planned originally for 2020 but they had to delay this adventure and arranged a tag team across the U.S. on the fly. One great function of their website is a recap of their previous rides and very nice motorcycle roads. If you wanted to contribute to their fundraising efforts you can do so online as well. Keep the shiny side up to all the LRLR Riders!
