Today is National Fish and Chips Day, not here in the US, but in the United Kingdom! And let me tell you, they know and cherish their Fish and Chips. I’ve eaten authentic Fish and Chips in England and there is nothing I have found to match it here in the states. I also have not yet been able to quite recreate it at home. I do plan to continue to try.

There is another option on the horizon. Celebrity Chef Gordon Ramsey will soon open a branch of his Fish and Chips restaurant in ICON park in Orlando, Florida. I plan to taste test that new outlet as soon as I can because I simply love the dish. Essentially I love anything deep fried so I will be there! Stay tuned for a future restaurant review.
