In Memoriam – Fred Willard

I’m a little late to the party celebrating the life of the wonderful Fred Willard, but he wouldn’t object. A genial satirist, talented actor and gentle personality he was always a welcome sight on the screen. I first came to know him from “Fernwood Tonight” and looked forward to his presence in so many mockumentaries I’ve lost count. Impossible to ever sum up a performer with as many credits as he had, but I’ve included a link here to his hilarious “The True Story of Christmas” as part of Harry Shearer’s holiday event. I fell down laughing the first time I heard it and still giggle today. May not be the holiday season, but it is always the season to enjoy his dulcet tones.
