Finally – a crisis suited to my skills

I would be no good in case of a flood as I am not a great swimmer. I can’t run that fast, so getting to a shelter when a tornado threatens would be a problem. But the current COVID-19 crisis simply calls for me to stay at home and do nothing. This I can do. As a matter of fact I can do nothing very well. I would go so far as to say there are few in the world that can do nothing better than me!

My only regret is that so many others, especially baseball players, must also do nothing. Today would have been Opening Day – a very special day for a Cincinnati Reds fan. I would do nothing better if I could watch my beloved Reds play ball. Maybe soon. Until then I am seriously in Spring Training for doing nothing. Gotta get back to my routine. Nothing up!
