I am happy to wish 2019 farewell. It has been a tough one for me. Luckily I did not die on the operating table after my body went into Severe Septic Shock back in late August. I emerged from three operations over an eight day period thanks to the prayers and positive thoughts of family and many friends. I was profoundly exhausted but have come back because of long work, resolve and the loving nursing and care of Pamela. I am blessed and lucky and grateful.
I have transitioned from being bedridden, to a long period in a wheelchair, to getting around with a walker, then crutches, and now with just a cane. Better every day, that is my motto. I am going through physical therapy and working to regain full use of my foot. Getting there. So I look forward to 2020. I hope you are too. And I hope you are lucky to have as many wonderful people in your life. Happy New Year.
