I’m very excited as tonight I will be part of a sex festival. Let me rephrase that. My new short play (Foreplay-The App) will be performed for the very first time for an audience at the Players Theatre Short Play Festival in Greenwich Village here in New York City. The theme of their February collection of short works is Sex! (having to do with Valentines and all that stuff). Is that better?
Rehearsals have been going well with actors Eric Diamond, Maera Daniel Haggage, Babak Mehrabi, Will Pierson, and Carly Ruda as directed by Pamela Wilson. If you can make it between tonight and the Sunday matinee, I guarantee you will have a good time.
The historic theatre is at the corner of Macdougal Street and Minetta Lane and we are on the third floor black box studio so you get a free cardio workout before the show!
Tickets go fast so reservations are recommended, you can order online through http://www.shortplaynyc.com. Whether there or at the door, be certain to use the discount code CAST to reduce the $30 admission fee to a cool $20.
If you can make it use the Contact page of this blog or my email to let me know to watch out for you!
PS: The cherry pie was a hit with our cast during our last rehearsal. I will add that recipe to my files but will continue to tinker, as usual, the next time I make it! Fresh Cherry Pie. Delicious.
