Recently I traveled over to Carnegie Hall to catch the Distinguished Concerts International New York with their orchestra and various chorales performing Beethoven’s Choral Fantasy and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9.  I love Ode to Joy and thrill to it whenever it is done well and this certainly was.  It was one night only so you don’t have the chance to hear this one.  But if you want to hear a talented ensemble you can go to http://www.dciny.org to catch their schedule.  It will be worth your while.

As a bonus DCINY took a group photo in Carnegie Hall to celebrate their 10th anniversary and if you look closely you can see me in two simple pixels in the center of the orchestra wearing a red shirt and black jacket.  Did you find Waldo?
