National Popcorn Poppin’ Month

Today is the first day of October which is also National Popcorn Poppin’ Month.  The message here is to enjoy some popcorn this month whether it comes from fresh popped popcorn at home, or the movies or the ballpark.  My favorite and appropriate for this month is the old fashioned sweet popcorn ball.  Happy October, happy popcorn.  Enjoy and see additional information below…..

As it happens, I own a similar machine to that pictured above.  I’ve always wondered what it would be like to station my wide open mouth under the kettle, so I did.  Not really, (do not try this at home or the movie theater boys and girls, those kernels are hot!) but I did station my GoPro under it to get a visual.  You are welcome to view the one minute film below!
