Last month I told you about a great drive just on the other side of the George Washington Bridge. Coming up next week I will be joining a group of motorcyclists who ride to benefit two charities each year. They ride for about a week, I am just joining them for the last day and a half of the trip. The group is call Long Reach Long Riders (lrlr.org) and I know only one rider in the group, but look forward to meeting the motley crew, I mean great group of motorcyclists.
It occurred to me that I had tucked away a Go Pro video camera a couple of years ago for various reasons. What better way to document some of the upcoming ryde (an affectation of we Spyder Ryders, you will see part of my Can-Am Spyder in the video).
So I took it out, dusted it off, charged it up and mounted it on my helmet for fun while I took that lovely bucolic road. Getting home I loaded it into some software and compressed the 20 minute trip into the one minute sampler you will find below. Will only take you about 60 seconds to watch. Hope I have more chances to play with this toy and hope you get the chance to take this trip. Bring a picnic or stop at the snack shop. It is beautiful, relaxing and just minutes from Manhattan.
