An A.I. Visualization of several National Days

It’s Groundhog Day. Again. I’ve done Groundhog Day posts on this blog twice before, in 2023 and in 2018. I even did a review of the Broadway musical “Groundhog Day” in 2017. You can find them if you are really interested by using the Search field on this page. I have nothing new to add this year. So what to do for this post?

February 2 is also National Play Your Ukulele Day. I don’t own a ukulele. I know it originated in Portugal but found its fulfillment in the hands of Hawaiians and Tiny Tim. That’s about all I know, not enough to make a stand alone post.

The first Friday in February is also National Bubblegum Day. Aha. I have chewed bubble gum, though not for a long time. I’ve found used gum in disgusting places and in disturbing ways. I know that ancient people actually chewed resin based concoctions and early Americans used chicle, a natural gum from the sapodilla tree. Now you know where the product named Chiclets comes from. I know that the first commercially available product was created in 1928 named Double Bubble. Still not enough for a standalone National Day Post.

Then last night I got word from my favorite Artificial Intelligence program – Bard, from Google. It said I could now use it to create custom images. With a quick request I got a reason to make a post. I’m not at all good at image software, but this was simple. This could be fun…
