For the last several years Major League Baseball has introduced alternate uniforms for most teams that tie in certain unique references to their city and alternate color schemes than the standard home whites and traveling grays. They are called City Connect Uniforms and some are silly and others are cool. In 2023 Cincinnati got a cool one. They flipped the script largely black uniforms with “Cincy” on the jersey and remade “C” logo to replace the traditional wishbone version in use for decades. I think they are really cool. Tis season a new version has been added and will be worn for Saturday home games. They will use the same new “C” design but have red jerseys and black numerals. Also very nice (but just slightly less cool that the previous ones in my opinion. Here’s a sampling from last night…
