Today is the start of National Pizza Week and you can find one of America’s favorite meals in just about any combination you can imagine. To celebrate I strongly recommend you skip the big national chains and find a local family parlor of distinction. I’ll start with a hyper-local recommendation.

Mamma Mia Pizzeria advertises and faithfully provides New York style pizza, and one of the few places in Central Florida that offers them in slices. In addition they have one of the best calzones I have sampled. In Leesburg you can find it on US 27 near Palm Plaza. Feel free to call out your favorite shop in the comments and make a stop there during this National Pizza Week!
