Today is a special day for the nation but especially for my beloved Cincinnati Reds. Baseball used to be practically a religion in the city I grew up in. The recent success of the hometown Bengals and the dismal performance of the Reds has changed some preferences in the Queen City. But I am still at heart a lifelong fan of my Redlegs. And baseball is my preferred sport. I am especially excited about the MLB rules this year. I fantasize that this fledgling Reds team will better master the new rules and rise to greatness. Check back in in June. But for now, hope is high, and possibilities are endless. Go Reds. I am ready for the new season.
