The Great New York Subway Seating Debate

If you regularly ride the New York City Subway this is a very important topic. As I depend on the A Train, this is essential. Since the following was posted on Twitter on New Year’s Eve day …

…I have seen lots of discussion but I am mystified. The only acceptable answer is #1. It is obvious. You get by the door to get out quickly and have only one person sitting next to you. There is no other acceptable answer.

Well, the leader of the subway system, the great Andy Byford, did say that he seldom sat as the seats are for customers. Way to go Andy and please keep improving our subway. By the way, if you do ever sit, #1 is the obvious answer. Anyone want to disagree?
