Finally, the Cincinnati Reds 2026 campaign begins. As is customary due the Reds being the first professional team in baseball get to open at home. And the home traditions are rich. Cincinnati is the only major league city that still holds an opening day parade. Today at noon the Findlay Market Opening Day Parade kicks off with Former Reds Relief Pitcher Jeff Brantley as Grand Marshall. He is a current Reds broadcaster and my favorite commentator.

Plus if you are near a Skyline Chili Parlor stop by and get a free Coney with a beverage purpose. The entire city has specials and celebrations for this annual celebration.

As for me, I am optimistic for this year. As a fan, I always am but there may be some foundation to it. Go Reds!
