Ten years ago today I adopted my Can-Am Spyder Roadster RT and we have been a happy couple ever since. She acquired her name because the Bombardier Recreational Products company called her paint color “Cognac.” My favorite Cognac is Courvoisier and it features an image of Napoleon and thus her name is Josephine.

We’ve had many adventures as far north as Maine, as far south as Florida, and as far west as Missouri and every state between. This includes countless trips on the Blue Ridge Parkway and many other amazing motorcycle roads. So in this momentous week for birthdays (Ringo and myself earlier this week), add the name of Josephine, my proud and able steed.
