My Obligatory Super Bowl Post

The Super Bowl has long been the tent pole American event. More wings are eaten, more opinions expressed, more commercials are cited, and more interest is paid than any other happening in this country. So of course, as an American, I must also weigh in with insight, however trite or meaningless. I will be rooting for the Kansas City Chiefs even if I cannot sing a single Taylor Swift song if my life depended on it. Nothing against the Philadelphia Eagles, even if the only thing I can list about them is that Saquon Barkley does an excellent reverse hurdle. I trust it will be exciting game and yes, I will watch it. But my mind will be elsewhere. Pitchers and catchers report to the Cincinnati Reds spring training camp tomorrow and that is far more important than any football game. Go REDS!
