Close but not quite. Gemini must be a young’un because back in the day the following ad was in every comic book and youth magazine.

Sea-Monkeys were actually Brine Shrimp which have the fascinating ability to be dried out while still alive. They could then be reanimated when placed back into water and lived for a short time, fascinating many a young boy. (I never fell for these fake pets or those X-Ray glasses they were always trying to get me to buy. I saved my money for candy instead of frivolous pursuits. And now look at me, diabetic and broke.)
