By “it” I mean COVID -19 though I have lost count of all the variations. I had avoided it all this time, but must admit I have not gotten the latest booster which was not quite available when I got my flu shot. I should have.

Can’t be sure but the last mass gathering I attended was on Tuesday evening. By Friday morning I was laid out and useless. A Covid home test confirmed it and I had to cancel much anticipated Saturday travel. The doctor has prescribed a couple of things I am taking but this thing is kicking my butt. Head congestion, fever, body aches, weariness and plenty of coughing/sneezing has me laid out pretty good. There is slow and steady progress and I hope to shake it off soon. Get your boosters, friends, this is not to be toyed with.
