If your father is still alive, cherish him and make his day special. For the rest of us (my dad passed three decades ago) I continue to riffle through old photos from his past. Here is a scan from an unmarked photo so there are some minor mysteries.

A couple of things can be posited from this photo. It is a clearly mixed age elementary gathering with a wide range of ages. Don’t know for sure the year, but sometime in the 1940’s. The baby in the basket lower left is either an extreme prodigy or the teacher’s kid. My father is top center in the central pane of the door distracted by some cutie to his left. My uncle Hutch is two persons to dad’s right (upper left of the photo). Happy Father’s Day to all.
